From the creators and producers of The Kilburn Tapestries, local artists (Electronic Sheep) propose a new project called Kilburn in Motion – a creative inclusive community-led film project celebrating and recording Kilburn’s history, architecture, cultures, and people. This film is not just a documentation of the area but an art film with deeper meaning and context capturing all the beauty that Kilburn has to offer and drawing out what we (residents) covet for future planning.

All ages and cultures from the community will be included in the making of this film and we will be looking for locals to become involved – Kilburn in Motion will be accessible, enjoyable and ideally a far-reaching project that will resonate with the area and beyond – to all who love and experience Kilburn, city life, diaspora, art, culture and heritage.

In the lead up to World Car Free day, Priory Park Road will feature three temporary car-free space days, free from noise, stress and pollution.

The project will provide training opportunities and emphasize environmental and community well-being, surveying people of all ages for their thoughts, ideas and needs for reclaiming this space for rest, play, socialising, entertainment or otherwise.
